Develop applications required to ingest data using Kafka Cluster (Transport & Collector)
-
Configuration of Zookeeper to manage activities
-
Configuration of Data Services layer using HDFS to ingest data
-
Develop application to read data from Data Lake to feed TIBCO EMS Q
-
Measure overall performance of different Hadoop platforms.
Building “In-House” Production Hadoop Infrastructure.
-
Managed building of Infrastructure (HP Racks with Servers & Raw Hard Drives to build HDFS
-
Managed purchasing, installation & configuration of Hadoop stack, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Zookeeper, Flume, Spark, Storm
Data Migration & TIBCO Analytics Solutions
-
Managed migration of data from Netezza/DW to “Data Lake” enabling the development of custom BI solutions to perform Analytics using TIBCO BE/Spotfire
-
Managed the team to of Hadoop / BI Solution to collect customer usage & device “Stats” messages from 8 Million Set Top boxes every 5 min., using “Push & Pull” methods to feed EPN (Using Apache: Hadoop Stack). TIBCO BE/BW servers consumed the data real-time from Hbase to perform “Predictive Analytics” & monitor the quality of services to clients by geography. Exceptions/ predictions were distributed via EPN message service to other applications. The final load will consist of processing 2 billion events per day.
Real-Time View of Client Status
Managed project to create a “Real Time View” updated continuously (5 Min) in BE Cache and available via Web-Services to external applications to build responses & perform co-relation to emerging events. (SetTopBox Failures, Application Outage, Node Outages, Call Centre Load etc.,)
